I almost ordered the steamer Good Grips, because I want to do their things, but I chose this path and for less money and I'm glad I did not. I can not imagine a different model would behave better. The smaller pot, you could be in use have that internal 7-1/4 "diameter. I use it in my big" Dutch oven pot type that is 10 "in diameter. I can two heads of cauliflower, plus a rutabaga (all removed) Fit if I use my steam in large pot. Its been that great to get things done in a slurryMeeting, they have salads cold "refrigerator as an addition, etc.
