How to Cook Rump Steak

Rump steak (or round steak) is meat, cut that is literally from the back of the cow. If you guessed that this is probably a hard piece of meat, then you would be right. On the other hand, it is quite flavorful.

The question is how we can cook some of the toughness - or at least avoid, by the toughness by drying it out - so we can enjoy the excellent taste of steak?

To Roast A good way to cook is steak barbecue. A better way is to marinate itFirst fry it or grill it. Here I give you a recipe for each method:

Grilled steak

Ingredients

4 thin-cut steak

1 / 4 cup butter

Directions

1. Melt the butter in a frying pan until very hot. Add steaks (cook one or two at a time, depending on size of pan).

2. Turn meat frequently while cooking for 8 to 10 minutes.

3. Steaks quickly, while still very hot.

Marinated Rump SteakSteak

Ingredients

4 thin-cut steak

1 / 2 cup red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 cloves garlic, chives

2 teaspoons canola oil or other cooking oil

Directions

1. Place steaks in a large, shallow pan (not only corrosive!)

2. Mix together wine, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce and garlic. Pour over the steaks.

3. Cover tightly with plastic wrap. Place inRefrigerator for at least 4 hours and preferably overnight.

4. Heat oil in a frying pan until very hot.

5. Grill the steaks for 3 to 5 minutes on each side depending on thickness. Add some of the remaining liquid from the marinade pan and let it dry before removing from heat bubble.

6. Serve steak quickly, while still very hot.
